	Born and raised in Seneca Falls, Bob moved to Malone in 1960. He married Marilyn Johnson and they have three daughters. Bob attended Plattsburg State University and then obtained a job at Alcoa as a Journeyman General Mechanic. He worked for Alcoa for 34 years. He was on the National Ski Patrol for 24 years.

Burning permit renewals are due for the Town of Malone no later than March 31. People caught burning without a permit will be issued a ticket. It is also required to have a permit for any new buildings, specific renovations, installation of swimming pools, woodstoves, chimney, and installation and repair on septic tanks.
