The regular monthly meeting of the
Town of Malone Comprehensive Plan Committee will take place on
Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Malone Town office
complex at 27 Airport Road. The agenda will include a review
and discussion of the draft new zoning law, as well as the next
step in the process. The proposed zoning law was distributed to
Committee members earlier this month, and members are urged to
bring their copy with them to the meeting.
The Comprehensive Plan
Committee has been working in conjunction with Professor Richard
Lamb, SUNY Plattsburgh, to review and revise the town’s zoning
and land use regulations, and have been meeting on a monthly
basis since May, of 2006. Meetings are held on the fourth
Thursday of each month, and are open to the public.
The Comprehensive Plan
Committee members are: Malone Town Board members Irving Caplan
and Jack Sullivan, Town Planning Board members Lee Mulverhill
and Mark Gonyea, and Town Variance Board members Chris Kelley
and Frank Purdy. Alternates to the Committee are Deputy Town
Supervisor Paul Walbridge, Councilor Louise Taylor, and Planning
Board members Anne Farden and Barry Collins.
